Magazine fosters radical thinking and doing by offering an educational structure within which participants from a variety of fields can operate as expert and novice. Informed by the interdisciplinary philosophies of both Black Mountain College and Kindergarten, each live Volume proposes an idea around which participants are invited to respond through political, aesthetic, and theoretical cultural production. Responses might take the form of: a lecture, a performance, a hands-on workshop, a writing assignment, a sensory experience, a guided walk, scavenger hunt, or a hybrid of these that we can not currently fathom. Thus, participants collectively create the content of Magazine.

Why “Magazine”?
A collection, a place to store gather things, something loaded.
